August 17, 2018  By PrintAction Staff

Just two months after announcing the addition of a third HP Indigo 20000 digital printing press to its Madison, Wisc., facility, ePac Flexible Packaging has announced the addition of a second press to its Chicago, Ill., facility.

ePac, a provider of short and medium-run length flexible packaging, now has eight HP Indigo 20000s in its Chicago; Madison; Boulder, Colo.; and Miami, Fla., manufacturing facilities.

“ePac Chicago opened just 90 days ago and we’ve already reached the point where we need more capacity to keep pace with growing demand,” says Virag Patel, ePac Chief Operating Officer.

The company began operations in May 2016 in Madison, followed by Boulder, in December 2017, Chicago and Miami in early 2018, and additional plants underway in Texas and California.
